Description of Application:
Beginning in mid-2015, Corgill Construction, a Raven Certified Applicator, rehabilitated more than 25 manholes that had been deteriorating severely.

After cleaning and preparing the surface of the manholes, Corgill spray-applied a cementitious product to repair the lost substrate.  Once the cement was allowed to cure and prepare, a 100% solids epoxy primer, the Raven 171, was applied to reduce the amount of off-gassing that could result in pinholes/holidays through the top coat.  Raven 405, a 100% solids, ultra-high-build epoxy protective coating, was then applied at 125 mils thick to provide further structural reinforcement and corrosion protection.
